The technologist prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology, operating imaging equipment according to prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. They must adhere to customer service standards, support organizational excellence, and interact positively with patients, visitors, and staff while performing ancillary services as needed.
A post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required, along with ARRT registration (R) in diagnostic radiology and a current State of WI Radiographer license. One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
