The Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, operate mammographic equipment, and ensure quality control. They will also provide education and training to new and student Mammographers.
Candidates must have ARRT certification in radiography and advanced certification in mammography, along with specific training and experience requirements based on the level of the position. A minimum of 25 mammography exams under supervision is required for Level I, while Level II requires two years of experience and 200 exams.

Location: Duke Regional Hospital
Work Week: (Monday-Friday 40 hours with rotating call on Saturday)
Monday 8am-4: 30pm
Tuesday 8am-4: 30pm
Wednesday 8am-4: 30pm
Thursday 8: 30am-5pm
Friday 8: 30am-5pm
General Description of the Job Class
Perform a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
