Must hold an active Maryland license (LCPC, LMSW, LGPC, LCSW, or LCSW-C) and have at least two years of experience. Candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Havre de Grace, MD.

Maryland Wellness is seeking a compassionate, licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team, serving clients in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our Havre de Grace office. In this role, you will support clients in developing cognitive, emotional, and social skills; building effective coping strategies for managing mental health symptoms, and navigating life challenges.
As a therapist with Maryland Wellness, you will collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that outline both short-term and long-term goals, utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances. You will be responsible for monitoring and documenting progress toward these goals, addressing urgent mental health concerns as they arise and working closely with other members of the client's treatment team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. When appropriate, you'll assist clients in accessing additional resources or higher levels of care to best support their wellness journey.
All services will be provided in alignment with Maryland Wellness' clinical standards and in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Requirements: Essential duties and responsibilities:
Ability to deliver quality of care in line with the local, state, and federal government laws. Must have one of the following licenses : LCPC, LMSW, LGPC, LCSW & LCSW-C. Ability to deliver quality of care in line with the policies and expectations of accreditation bodies such as CARF. The ability to effectively build relationships with individuals of all ages, ethnicity, education, and work experience. Respect for individual differences and multicultural diversity. Maintains confidentiality and all regulations regarding HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Exhibits professionalism and a friendly demeanor, and is a positive representative of the company. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Comfort with computers and technology as needed to input clinical documentation. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and scheduling. Utilizing professionally accepted interventions and evidence-based practice. Excellent interpersonal and therapeutic skills Establish and maintain rapport with clients and willing to continue services despite client engagement level Reliable, ethical, and honest work ethic.
