The Advanced Practice Provider will independently conduct comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses in the inpatient setting. Primary duties include managing a subset of these patients, preparing and signing chemotherapy treatment plans and orders, and performing procedures like bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
Applicants must possess a Master's or Doctorate's degree (for NP) or a Bachelor's or Master's degree (for PA) from an accredited program, along with active State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure, including prescriptive authority. Active RN/APRN certifications (for NP) or PA board certification (for PA), and an active DEA license or ability to obtain one upon hire, are also mandatory.
