The Outpatient Registered Dietitian provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and medical nutrition counseling to primary care patients in an outpatient setting under the Director of Nutrition Services. This role also involves planning and implementing one-on-one diabetes education sessions and group classes.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Dietitian in Arizona or credentialed within six months of hire, possessing strong soft skills like initiative, adaptability, and communication abilities. Additional requirements include knowledge of MS Windows 365/EHR systems, reliable transportation, and obtaining a Fingerprint Clearance Card and Basic Life Support certification.
Under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Outpatient Registered Dietitian performs professional duties by providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and medical nutrition counseling to primary care patients of Valle del Sol in the outpatient setting. The Registered Dietitian also plans and implements one-on-one diabetes education sessions and group classes.
