The Opportunity Up to $50k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Current TX state license is a plus. Visa candidates encouraged to apply. 24-hour shifts available and block shifts with personal preferences accommodated. The Practice UMC Surgical Hospital – El Paso, Texas 6-bed Emergency Department with access to a 310-bed Level I Trauma Center and a 40-bed offsite hospital. Affiliated with the broader UMC system that includes: Comprehensive Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, Level 4 Maternal Designation, and trauma services with access to UMC’s main campus resources. Approximately 39,000 annual visits across three Emergency Departments. Low volume, flexible scheduling allow physicians to continue other work, including telehealth or side projects while on shift.
