The Physical Therapy Assistant implements therapeutic interventions focusing on function restoration, such as posture, balance, strength, and coordination, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role also involves monitoring patient progress, providing education on self-management strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation of care provided.
Candidates must possess 0-1 years of experience in a physical therapy setting and hold the required PTA license for the state of employment along with Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. Essential qualifications include strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant administers therapeutic techniques and interventions designed to improve, maintain, or restore function for individuals affected by age, injury, disease, or congenital conditions. This role focuses on providing safe, effective, and evidence-based therapy services to support patient recovery and independence.
