The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to the endocrinology team by performing patient screenings, administering medications, and documenting care. They are also responsible for maintaining medical equipment and assisting with clerical duties such as scheduling and patient registration.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Medical Assisting program or have equivalent military medical training. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience are required.
