Foxdale was founded in 1985 by members of the State College Friends Meeting and is founded on the values of treating all with dignity and respect. Foxdale is regarded as a premier healthcare facility both locally and nationally and has been voted "Best Retirement Community in State College, PA" for over a decade. Foxdale Village includes 57 apartments and 148 cottages and offers a range of health services with 46 beds in skilled nursing for short and long-term care, two memory care neighborhoods, and 55 beds in personal care, all with private accommodations. We currently have an opportunity for a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

We are hiring for

Full-Time position and expected work 36 hours per week (230pm-3am) and every other weekend/holiday. (Anthony House) OR Full-Time position and expected work 40 hours per week (3pm-1130pm) and every other weekend/holiday. (Anthony House) Full-Time position and expected work 72 hours per pay period, Nine 8 hour shifts (2pm-1030pm) and every other weekend/holiday. (Darlington House)

Job Summary

Participate in planning, delivering, and developing resident care. This includes communication to assure efficient care and documentation of care.

• Functions: Participate in the planning and delivery of individualized nursing care utilizing the primary caregiver approach. Participate in the development, review and update of an individualized interdisciplinary care utilizing the primary caregiver’s approach. Assume responsibility for and complete required documentation in a timely and legible manner. Communicate effectively through written and non-written methods to assure continuity of care and efficiency in work responsibilities. Demonstrate clinical competence in the use of specialized equipment and implementation of nursing care procedures. Participate in the development of procedures and standards of care relative to resident care and use of specialized equipment.
