This position involves providing personal care and related services to patients in their homes by following the established Plan of Care to ensure safe and competent care. Essential duties include assisting patients with personal hygiene, maintaining a safe environment, planning nutritious meals, aiding with ambulation, and performing routine housekeeping tasks.
Candidates must be able to read, analyze, write reports, and effectively present information, demonstrating strong decision-making skills based on available facts. Minimum education is a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid Driver’s License and CPR/First Aid Certification are required, along with passing various background checks.
This position provides personal care and related services to patient in the home. Essential Functions Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company, have exceptional customer service, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include: Follows the Plan of Care to provide safe, competent care/services to the patient. Help the patient maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthy, safe environment. Plan and prepare nutritious meals. Assist the patient with ambulation as detailed by Patient Care Plan. Encourage the patient's independence but not exceed their capabilities outlined out in the Patient's Care Plan. Performs routine housekeeping tasks. Other duties as assigned.
Related Competencies Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must be able to provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees. Decision Making: Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess ability to analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions; utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. Education/Training High School graduate or equivalent.
