The Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric assessments, manage psychotropic medications for clients, and collaborate closely with the therapy team to ensure coordinated, client-centered care. Responsibilities also include maintaining thorough EHR documentation and contributing to the development of an integrated care model.
Candidates must be a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the Illinois Board of Nursing and possess Full Practice Authority (FPA), along with valid DEA and NPI numbers. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a psychiatric, mental health, or outpatient setting is required, and individual liability insurance is preferred.

Tides Mental Health is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management and collaborative care for our patients.
This role is ideal for an experienced PMHNP who enjoys working in a collaborative outpatient environment alongside therapists and who values thoughtful, client-centered psychiatric care. The PMHNP will play an important role in developing an integrated approach to mental health treatment that combines psychotherapy and medication management when appropriate.
