The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing on-site primary healthcare services to Job Corps students, including medical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. This role involves prescribing medications, offering preventive care, and collaborating with center staff to support student health.
Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State, DEA registration with prescribing authority, and minimum $1M medical liability insurance. Graduation from an accredited NP program and current CPR/BLS certification are also mandatory requirements.
Nurse practitioner (Np) – on-Site medical services
The Nurse Practitioner provides on-site primary healthcare services to Job Corps students ages 16–24. Responsibilities include medical assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, preventive care, and health education. The NP collaborates with the Health and Wellness Director and center staff to support student health and program success.
