The MRI Technologist performs MRI diagnostic or therapeutic procedures according to scope of practice and departmental standards, which includes assessing patient information, preparing, and educating the patient for procedures. Responsibilities also involve completing documentation, utilizing hospital and departmental technology systems, and adhering to safety protocols.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and possess current ARRT or ARMRIT certification, along with American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Required experience includes previous MRI experience and meeting the specific state registration requirements for Medical Technicians in New Hampshire.
