The Physical Therapist will evaluate, direct, plan, and treat patients in the Inpatient Acute Care Unit to help them achieve maximum functional independence, collaborating with providers and staff. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, performing treatments using various techniques, modifying plans based on status changes, and clearly communicating client status to all relevant parties.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy and possess a current State of CT license. A key requirement is the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, which includes explaining procedures and counseling patients and families.
