The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for measuring lung capacity, analyzing blood samples, delivering and assessing ordered therapy, and responding to emergent codes. Key duties also include educating patients and families, managing respiratory supplies, and maintaining/sterilizing equipment.
Applicants must possess a current New Mexico Respiratory Therapist license and be a licensed RRT with the National Board for Respiratory Care. A minimum education requirement is a high school diploma/GED or an associate degree, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
