The technician will collaborate with doctors to deliver gold standard care across a wide range of emergency cases, handling triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. Responsibilities include staying with patients during tests, delivering nursing care in critical moments, performing advanced medical procedures, and communicating effectively as a team member.
Candidates must be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the practice state and possess at least one year of experience in a veterinary technician role, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine. A high school diploma is required, though an associate’s degree from an AVMA accredited program is strongly preferred, and specialized VTS certifications are a plus.
