The Interventional Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or physician. They assist with invasive procedures, prepare and administer contrast materials, and ensure compliance with safety measures.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved school of Radiologic Technology with at least one year of experience in interventional radiology or related fields. Required certifications include ARRT, SCRQSA, and BLS certification.
