The therapist provides direct clinical services to patients utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities and ensures strict confidentiality is maintained at all times. Responsibilities also include completing necessary forms for third-party resources and adhering to ethical standards set by the Mental Health Licensing Board.
Candidates must be licensed by the Wyoming Mental Health Professionals Licensing Board and complete initial and annual CPI training as required for departmental practice. Two or more years of experience in counseling or therapy, especially in substance abuse or Child and Adolescent Therapy, is considered a plus.
