Home Health Speech Therapists assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and administer therapies to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions within the comfort of the patients' homes. The role emphasizes enhancing communication and swallowing abilities while utilizing agency support for administrative tasks.
Candidates must possess a current and unrestricted California Speech Therapist (ST) License, a minimum of one year of ST experience, and current AHA CPR certification. A valid Driver's License is also required for this home health position.
