This role involves assisting the dentist with general dental services and accurately completing daily instrument and sharps inventory at the start and end of each workday. The assistant is also responsible for triaging scheduled patients and taking dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Candidates must possess a Certificate of completion for the Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) examination and a Certificate of completion in Clinical/Dental Radiography from the Dental Assisting National Board. A minimum of one year of prior work experience in this specific position is also required.
