The Registered Nurse coordinates patient care through scheduling, consulting, and organizing activities, while performing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized Plans of Care addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. They are responsible for promoting patient engagement, teaching self-care skills, developing discharge plans to prevent readmissions, and accurately documenting all care provided.
Candidates must hold a current RN license from the Mississippi Board of Nursing and possess the ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written communication. Preferred qualifications include CPR or ACLS Certification, and competency in various essential clinical skills like body system assessment, IV access, and safe blood administration is required.
