The Staff RN coordinates professional nursing and individualized, family-centered care to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process and clinical skills. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Candidates must have an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in nursing and at least one year of RN experience, preferably with pediatric patients. Required certifications include RN licensure, BLS, and PALS, among others.

A Brief Overview Coordinates professional nursing and individualized, family centered care to patients/families through the use of the nursing process and clinical skills in accordance with standards and hospital policies and procedures. On call responsibilities vary depending on department. Varied schedules to include weekend and holiday patterns.
Education Qualifications Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing Required or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing Required Experience Qualifications Minimum 1 year of RN experience Required and Experience with pediatric patients Preferred and Previous experience with EPIC Preferred Skills and Abilities Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills. Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure current and valid in the state of Nebraska Upon Hire Required and BLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (except NICU) within 180 Days Required and NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation (NICU only) within 180 Days Required and ACLS within 9 months of hire (Cath Lab and ED only) Required and ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification (ED only) within 1 Year Required and TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (ED only) within 1 Year Required For RNs working in the Radiology Nursing area, RNs will be trained in all areas of Radiology Nursing and will complete all required competencies Required
