As a Surgical Technologist, you will prepare for surgical procedures and assist with room turnover by arranging sterile setups of instruments and supplies. You will also consult with physicians to ensure all necessary equipment is ready and assist with sponge and needle counts.
Candidates must have completed a Surgical Technician program and possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Both new graduates and experienced Surgical Technologists are welcome to apply.
Prepare for surgical procedures and assist with room turnover by arranging sterile setup of instruments, sponges, sutures, and other supplies required for specific surgical procedures according to surgeon preferences. Consult with the physician before the case to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are ready. Assist with sponge and needle counts before, during, and after closing. Keep current with technical advancements and professional trends within the operating room setting.
Must have completed a Surgical Technician program. New graduates and experienced Surgical Technologist's welcome to apply; pay based on experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers.
