Med Techs administer and accurately record medication administration under nurse supervision, obtain and report vital signs, and manage medication supply accounting. They also provide personal care, assist residents with daily living activities, and observe/report changes in resident condition.
Candidates should ideally have six months of experience passing medication in a retirement community setting, though CMA certification is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and possess caring, organized, and multi-tasking abilities.
