This nonexempt position involves providing medical assistant care under the supervision of physicians, providers, or registered nurses in ambulatory settings, which includes greeting patients using AIDET and offering patient support during delays. Responsibilities also cover performing administrative duties such as rooming patients, documenting vital signs and history, managing EMR in-baskets, handling communications, and potentially administering vaccines or collecting specimens.

Candidates must be a graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by an approved certifying body and hold current certification from a board recognized by the NJ Board of Medical Examiners, along with current BLS/CPR certification. A minimum of one year of recent experience as a medical assistant or documented externship completion is required, along with experience in EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection procedures.
