The primary responsibility involves providing basic respiratory care to patients as prescribed by a physician, focusing on non-ICU patients during the night shift. This includes evaluating the need for service delivery, administering appropriate therapy, and performing diagnostic procedures according to departmental standards.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA-accredited program or a CoARC-approved certification program, with no prior experience explicitly required. Essential licensure includes a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from the Texas Medical Board and NBRC certification (CRT or CRTT), along with current CPR certification.
