The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, and then direct and administer therapy using techniques to aid rehabilitation for functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing. Responsibilities also include reviewing medical records, developing treatment plans focused on community independence, and instructing patients and caregivers.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology along with current state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist. Experience treating neurologically related disorders, dysphagia, and familiarity with IDDSI diets are strongly preferred.
