The Medical Assistant is primarily responsible for providing excellent direct patient care alongside providers and supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care. This role also requires maintaining accurate and complete documentation within the patient's medical record.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant training program and hold current certification from an accredited organization such as AMT, AAMA, ARMA, or be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Entry-level candidates are accepted, though previous medical assistant or primary care clinic experience is preferred.

Licensure / Certification Currently certified by American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurse or other accredited certifying organization. Experience Entry level; previous medical assistant experience preferred. Previous experience in a primary care clinic / outpatient setting preferred.
