The Behavioral Health Technician participates in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients within a correctional mental health setting. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic support services, managing crises, running psychosocial groups, and assisting with patient record maintenance and telepsychiatry support.
A Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science is required for this role. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of experience providing activities programming for patients with serious mental illness, along with competency in Excel for database management.
