The Podiatrist will be responsible for examining patients' legs and feet to diagnose various conditions and treat injuries such as fractures, corns, and calluses. This role also involves prescribing necessary treatments like medication and orthoses, referring out for surgery when needed, and advising patients on foot care and wellness.
Candidates must possess a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) along with an active state license and a minimum of two years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting. Essential qualifications include excellent knowledge of lower extremity treatments and strong interpersonal skills for communicating with the elderly population.
Paid by CPT Code or 35% - 40% of collections ($1100 - $1250 per visit).
