The Trauma Surgeon is primarily responsible for leading clinical care for assigned Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (ACS) patients, responding to Tier I & II trauma activations, and performing emergent operative cases. Responsibilities also include managing ACS consults, participating in daily inpatient rounds, supervising Advanced Practice Providers, and supporting surgical resident education.
Candidates must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery and eligible for California medical licensure, demonstrating strong clinical judgment in high-acuity trauma and ACS environments. Fellowship training in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care is preferred, along with a commitment to team-based care and surgical education.
