The primary functions involve using relevant personal stories to teach clients through experience and serving as a role model. Responsibilities also include encouraging client voice and choice in treatment planning and supporting clients receiving mental health services.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and complete KFLA training and core competency training. Applicants must be between eighteen and thirty-five years old and must currently be receiving or have previously received a state-funded service related to a youth's emotional, social, behavioral, or substance use disability.
