The therapist provides mental health and substance use counseling to patients with dependency issues, engaging in a clinical team approach to address co-occurring conditions. Key duties include designing tailored treatment and rehabilitation programs, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on recovery processes.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Marriage and Family Therapy or Educational Psychology, along with a current Texas license as an LPC or LMFT. Three years of experience in mental health and substance use services is preferred, along with expertise in substance use disorders.
Current license to practice as Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas.
Three years’ experience in mental health and substance use services preferred. Experience in clinical team approach to treatment of mental health and substance use conditions.
Substance use disorders.
English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
