The Physician Assistant will provide emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department, including performing assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for acute illnesses and trauma. Responsibilities also involve ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Candidates must possess an active Texas Physician Assistant License, NCCPA Certification, and an active DEA Certification, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Prior Emergency Medicine experience is preferred, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is required.
