The NP/PA will collaborate with attending physicians to perform triage, physical exams, order diagnostic procedures, prescribe interventions including anti-amyloid infusion therapies, and provide direct patient care to individuals with memory or cognitive issues. Duties also include analyzing clinical practice patterns for efficiency and communicating patient information to relevant healthcare providers.
Nurse Practitioners require a Master's degree in Nursing and current NC RN licensure plus national NP certification, while Physician Assistants need completion of an accredited PA program, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), NC licensure, and NCCPA certification. APP experience in neurology is strongly preferred for both roles.
