The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant implements treatment plans through direct therapy and collaboration with the Occupational Therapist, including educating treatment staff and consulting with families. Responsibilities also involve complying with documentation requirements under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Candidates must have the required Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education obtained from an accredited two-year associate degree program. Applicants must also hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
