Responsibilities also include ordering tests, performing minor procedures, managing patient flow, and maintaining quality assurance of records.
Candidates must meet specific educational and licensure requirements for either a Nurse Practitioner (Master's degree, certified FNP, APRN license in RI) or a Physician Assistant (Bachelor's degree, accredited program graduate, NCCPA certified, PA license in RI). A minimum of one year of related experience is required, with two years preferred, including experience caring for children aged 18 months and above.
