As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will provide care to patients with common diagnoses such as chest pains, gastroenteritis, and COPD exacerbations. You will work in a supportive environment with a focus on work-life balance.
Candidates must have an active and unrestricted state license, be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, and hold Nurse Practitioner certification. Additionally, 12 months of experience in an emergency room setting and current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Hampton VAMC you will not handle Trauma or Peds. The most common diagnosis are chest pains, Gastroenteritis, and COPD Exacerbations. If you are looking for a slower paced, less aggressive ER environment, then Hampton VA is your best bet!
