Staff speech pathologists will provide in-patient and/or out-patient services focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, home programming, patient/caregiver education, and consultation to other professionals and agencies.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in speech/language pathology and either hold the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology or be eligible to obtain it within 12 months of hire. State licensure or eligibility is required, along with BLS certification within 30 days of employment, and pediatric experience is preferred.
