This role is responsible for fully performing basic Medical Assistant duties, which includes facilitating unit operations by managing patient flow. Key duties also involve handling all department-specific front desk tasks such as scheduling, collecting, and verifying patient payor information and documentation.
Candidates must have completed a Medical Assistant Program and possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively and organize changing work assignments.
