• Description Description We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team.
• As a DSP, you will play a vital role in assisting people with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.
• Your support will help people engage in daily activities, develop skills, and participate in their communities.
• Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support people in reaching, growing and achieving personal goals and enhancing their independence.
• Encourage community involvement and social interaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress of people supported.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for people supported.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare professionals to provide the best support.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional training or certification in healthcare, human services, or related fields (preferred). Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, or a related field is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others. Ability to pass a background check and any required screenings. Must pass a post offer drug test Valid Illinois driver's license.
