The Interventional Cardiologist provides comprehensive Cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings, including evaluation, management, interpretation of cardiac diagnostic studies, and performing interventional cardiology procedures like diagnostic angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. Duties involve a blend of scheduled procedures, clinic visits, interpreting studies, and clinical documentation, while participating in the interventional Cardiology call rotation.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited medical school, completed an accredited Cardiology residency, and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, requiring board certification or eligibility within two years. Essential experience includes being a fellowship-trained Structural Heart Interventional Cardiologist with 2-3 years post-training experience or a Structural cardiologist with 5-10 years of independent experience, specifically in TAVR, TEER, LAAO, PVL closure, and ASD/PFO closure.
