The Physician Assistant will be trained in managing trauma and acute care surgical patients across all care levels, including the trauma bay, surgical floor, and ICU. Responsibilities involve participating in initial assessment and stabilization of acute trauma patients and performing daily rounds on admitted patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an ARC-PA Accredited Physician Assistant Program and must possess current or be eligible for a California Physician Assistant License. Required certifications include current BLS, ACLS, and PALS, along with NCCPA Certification (or be in process).
Description Inspire Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join an enthusiastic team in the Trauma (TSS)/Acute Care Surgical (ACS) Division that serves the growing population of Fresno, CA at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC).
CRMC is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the Central Valley of California, serving a large and diverse patient population. CRMC is a teaching institution affiliated with UCSF Fresno’s surgical residency program, making it an ideal environment for collaborative learning opportunities and professional development.
This position is based in Fresno, California – a city with a quality of life that is uniquely Californian, yet affordable. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for convenient getaways to places such as the majestic Sierra National Forest and the scenic Central Coast. $135,000/yr. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation may be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Actual compensation may also vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, and/or productivity.
