The Associate Veterinarian will perform routine and advanced surgeries, conduct comprehensive medical exams, and manage a wide range of conditions by creating individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities also include utilizing in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, and ultrasound to work up cases while handling urgent situations with team support.
Candidates must possess clinical expertise, strong surgical and diagnostic skills, with a preference for experience in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, or ultrasound. The role requires leading with confidence and compassion, valuing open communication, and approaching challenges with a growth mindset.
Perform routine and advanced surgeries (spay/neuter, mass removals, dental procedures, and more depending on skillset) Conduct comprehensive medical exams, diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions Create individualized treatment plans, including follow-up care and client education Work up cases using in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, and laboratory tools Handle urgent and same-day cases when needed, with the support of an experienced team Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients and colleagues
