The Clinical Massage Therapist will perform therapeutic massage to improve circulation, relieve stress, pain, and injuries, while establishing compassionate and culturally appropriate care environments for patients. Essential functions include conducting patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans using various techniques, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and current licensure by the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy or National Licensure, along with a minimum of one year of clinical/medical massage experience in a clinical setting for the entry level (PB-6). Higher levels require three or five years of experience, and proficiency in multiple massage modalities, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and EHR documentation is mandatory.
Pokagon Health Services is adding a part-time Clinical Massage Therapist. Minimum requirements are 1 year of clinical/medical massage in a clinical setting and current licensure by the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy or National Licensure.
Service encompasses all aspects of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indian’s governmental operations. Performs therapeutic massage on patients to improve circulation, promote relaxation, relieve stress, pain, injuries and aid in the ease of adjustment for chiropractors.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical/medical massage experience in a clinical setting required.
