The Medical Assistant will support providers by managing patient intake, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and updating medical histories within the Electronic Health Records (EHR). Key duties also involve assisting with clinical procedures, managing administrative tasks like prior authorizations and referrals, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, preferably with a Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited institution, and have at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA. Required attributes include strong customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask for multiple providers, and current or pending BLS certification.

Minimum Qualifications: ✅ High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
✅ Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program preferred
✅ At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA
✅ Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers
✅ Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
✅ BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
✅ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
OSHA Category This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
