The technologist performs various imaging exams for illness and injury diagnosis, requiring accurate patient positioning and selection of technical parameters. Responsibilities also include implementing radiation safety standards and preparing/administering contrast media as permitted.
Candidates must complete a program in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy, and hold required professional licenses/certifications including ARRT-CT and BLS HCP. No prior experience is explicitly required, but the role demands constant standing, walking, and frequent patient lifting/moving.
