The Hospice LPN will provide hands-on, patient-centered end-of-life care following state nursing rules, managing pain and symptoms while teaching and supporting patients and their families. This role also involves maintaining clear records and coordinating care effectively with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program and possess three years of nursing experience, preferably in community health, hospice, or medical/surgical settings. Applicants must hold a current LPN/LVN license in the state, have a valid driver's license with an insured vehicle, and maintain current CPR certification.

Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. Three years nursing experience. Community health/hospice or medical/surgical experience is preferred. Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State. Comply with accepted professional standards and practice. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. Possess and maintain current CPR certification. Understand philosophy of hospice concept. Also understand needs of the terminally ill. Use own knowledge and experience base and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions and solve problems. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
