Provide professional mental health services including assessment, treatment, and community outreach to individuals and groups, working as part of a team to maintain children/youth and families in the community when clinically appropriate. Essential functions include direct mental health treatment, developing Recovery Plans within specific timelines, submitting daily service reports, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in the mental health field and current registration/certification/license. Required qualifications also include excellent communication skills, computer proficiency for EMR/telehealth use, passing a criminal background check, and possessing a valid driver's license.
Requirements: Job requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field. A minimum of at least 2 years post graduate in the mental health field. Current registered/certification/ license. Experience in providing counseling services to individuals and groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency to document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and utilize telehealth and Microsoft office suite. Undergo and pass criminal background check upon initial employment and any subsequent checks required by the agency. Meet requirements of agency’s drug free workplace policy. Excellent customer service with a client focus. Able to sit, stand and move for long hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Able to drive in daylight, darkness, and typical Northwest weather conditions. Flexible to fill-in shifts if needed. Meet the current Washington health care vaccination requirements for health care workers.
Demonstrate ability to do differential diagnosis using DSM-V. Knowledge of and skill with using evidence-based therapeutic techniques Ability to do crisis intervention and ITA investigation.
