The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician protocols while providing compassionate, age-specific care to patients ranging from neonates through geriatrics. Responsibilities include adhering strictly to all hospital safety standards, including those related to radiation and fluoroscopy, and maintaining accurate records.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold current ARRT-R and Ohio Department of Health RT:R certifications, along with Basic Life Support (BLS). Required proficiency includes knowledge of digital/analog x-ray equipment, PACS, and RIS, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Weekend/Holiday rotation required for full and part-time positions. Will consider new graduates.
Education Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Required) Work Experience less than 1 year Registered Technologist with less than 2 years' experience (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system.
